CUSTOM FIELDS
The Custom Fields feature in the Engineering BOM module allows users to create and customize additional fields based on their requirements. Users can define field labels, types, and constraints, ensuring flexible and structured data entry.
Navigation
- Click on "Engineering" from the main menu.
- Under "Engg BOM", click on "Add Custom Field".
- Click on the "Add" button.
A new tab will open, displaying the following fields:
Custom field form
- Select BOM Group: Select a BOM group from the dropdown menu.
- Label Name: Enter the label name in the text box.
- Type: Select an option from the dropdown menu (e.g., Dropdown, Text Box, Date, Time).
- Max Length/List:
- For text fields, enter the maximum character length.
- For dropdown fields, enter a comma-separated list of options.
Add Button: Click Add to include an additional row for creating more custom fields.
Save Button: Click Save to save all the configured custom fields.
