RELEASE BOM
A Release BOM (Bill of Materials) is a finalized list of components, assemblies, and materials required for a specific engineering, costing, or production process. It serves as a structured document that outlines what is needed for a particular release, ensuring accuracy and consistency across different departments.
Navigation
- Navigate to Engineering.
- Click Release BOM under the Engg BOM menu.
- Click Add to create a new release entry.
Release BOM Form
Use this form to define the release scope and details.
- Release For: Select the appropriate target department.
- Engineering: For engineering-related updates.
- Costing: For costing-related updates.
- Production: For production-related updates.
- Item Number/Description: Enter or select the release item.
- Release Version: Select or enter the version number.
- Release Note: Enter a detailed description of changes, enhancements, or fixes.
Actions: Click Release to save the information.
Warning
Release For, Item Number/Description, and Release Version are mandatory fields.
View Release BOM
Review released BOMs categorized by department.
- Tabs: Switch between Engineering, Costing, and Production to view relevant releases.
Actions
Manage existing Release BOM records.
View
Click the Eye icon to view details.
Click the Print icon to generate a printout.
