ADDITIONAL CHARGES

The Additional Charges section allows administrators to define extra costs applied to transactions, such as taxes, service fees, or other expenses beyond the base price. These charges can be configured as a fixed amount (Rs) or a percentage (%) of the total cost, with support for GST components (IGST, CGST, SGST, UTGST).

Follow these steps to access the Additional Charges interface:

  1. Navigate to the Engineering module from the main menu
  2. Under the Secondary Master section, select Additional Charges

The Additional Charges interface will display all existing charges and provide options to create new configurations.

Creating a New Additional Charge

Step 1: Initiate Additional Charge Creation

Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new additional charge.

Step 2: Complete the Additional Charges Form

An additional charge configuration form will appear with the following fields:

GST Configuration

Step 3: Save the Additional Charge

After completing all required information, click the Save button to create the additional charge configuration.

Warning

The Additional Charges Name field is mandatory.

Once created, all additional charges are displayed in the Additional Charges table.

Edit Additional Charge

Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify additional charge details including name, description, or active status.

View Additional Charge

Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete additional charge details in read-only mode.
