PROCESS

The Process section allows administrators to define a sequence of steps or operations performed to manufacture a product, complete a task, or achieve a specific outcome. This interface helps standardize workflows, improve efficiency, and maintain consistency in production or service delivery.

Follow these steps to access the Process interface:

  1. Navigate to the Engineering module from the main menu
  2. Under the Secondary Master section, select Process

The Process interface will display all existing processes and provide options to create new entries.

Creating a New Process

Step 1: Initiate Process Creation

Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new process.

Step 2: Complete the Process Form

A process configuration form will appear with the following fields:

Process Name Enter the name of the process ✓ Yes
Description Provide a brief description of the process Optional
Remarks Add any relevant remarks or additional information Optional
Active Status Toggle to enable/disable the process (enabled by default) ✓ Yes

Step 3: Save the Process

After completing all required information, click the Save button to create the process entry.

Warning

The Process Name field is mandatory.

Managing Existing Processes

Once created, all processes are displayed in the Process table.

Each process in the listing supports the following actions:

Edit Process

Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify the selected process information.

View Process

Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete process details in read-only mode. - Access: Click the eye icon in the Actions column
