OQC BINNING

OQC Binning (Outgoing Quality Control Binning) is the process of categorizing and recording finished goods or sub-assemblies after they have passed outgoing quality inspection. This step ensures that only quality-approved items are assigned to specific bins or storage locations, supporting traceability and efficient inventory management. OQC Binning helps maintain product quality standards and streamlines the movement of goods within the warehouse or production facility.

  1. Click on "Manufacturing".
  2. Click on "Modify/View" under "OQC Binning". STEPS TO MODIFY/VIEW

A page will be displayed where users can view the created OQC Binning.

MODIFY/VIEW OQC BINNING

The Modify/View OQC Binning section allows users to review and manage existing OQC Binning records. Users can view detailed information for each shop order, ensuring that all binning actions are accurately tracked and can be updated as needed. This helps maintain up-to-date records of how quality-approved items are distributed across bins.

Once a OQC Binning is created, it will automatically appear on this page.

  • View: Click on the Eye Icon to view the details for the corresponding shop order.

CREATE OQC BINNING

The Create OQC Binning process enables users to record new binning actions for items that have passed outgoing quality control. By creating a new OQC Binning record, users assign accepted finished goods or sub-assemblies to specific bins, ensuring proper storage and traceability. This process captures all necessary details before saving the record in the system.

  • Click on "Plus Icon" to Create a new OQC binning record.

A page will be displayed where users can create OQC Binning.

OQC Binning Form

OQC BINNINF FORM

  • Item Type: Selects the type of item being processed.
    • "FG" represents Finished Goods
    • "SA" represents Sub-assemblies. Select only one option as it is a radio option
  • FG Item Number / Description: Enter the item number and/or a description for the finished good (only applicable if "FG" is selected in Item Type). Use this field to provide detailed information about the specific item.
  • Shop Order Number: Enter the corresponding shop order number associated with the production process.
  • Accepted FG Qty: Enter the accepted quantity of finished goods. This field only accepts numerical values.
  • Add Binning Details Section: This section facilitates the addition of binning information. User needs to add the information only then the Save button is enabled.

Save Button: Saves all entered data and submits the form.

  • Export to Excel : An excel icon allows exporting the displayed data to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
  • Search: A search input field allows filtering the table by entering text into the field.
  • Refresh: Click to refresh the data displayed in the table.
  • Home Icon: Navigates to the home or main page of the application.
  • Back Icon: Navigates back to the previous page.
