UNIT
The Unit section allows administrators to define and manage different organizational units or locations within the system. Units help organize users and operations across different physical or logical divisions of the organization.
Navigation
Follow these steps to access the Unit interface:
- Navigate to the Org Config module from the main menu
- Under the Admin section, select Unit

The Units Management interface will display all existing units and provide options to create new ones.
Creating a New Unit
Step 1: Initiate Unit Creation
Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new unit.

Step 2: Complete the Unit Form
A unit creation form will appear with the following fields:

| Units Name | A unique, descriptive name for the organizational unit | ✓ Yes |
| Description | A brief explanation of the unit's purpose or location | Optional |
| Active Status | Toggle to activate or deactivate the unit | Optional |
Step 3: Save the Unit
After completing the required information, click the Save button to create the unit.
Warning
Units Name is a mandatory field.
Note
Data Visibility & Isolation
Please note that data visibility is strictly scoped to the Unit level. If two users are assigned to different units, the data created by each user is only visible to themselves within their assigned unit. This ensures that users in one unit cannot access or view data belonging to another unit.
Managing Existing Units
Unit Listing View
Once created, all units are displayed in the Units Management table:

The table provides a comprehensive overview of all configured units, including their names, descriptions, and active status.
Available Actions

Each unit in the listing supports the following actions:
Edit Unit
Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify unit details including name, description, or active status.
View Unit
Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete unit details in read-only mode.
