UOC (Unit of Currency)
The UOC (Unit of Currency) section allows administrators to define and manage different currency units used within the system. This ensures accurate financial transactions, proper currency categorization, and multi-currency support across the application.
Navigation
Follow these steps to access the UOC interface:
- Navigate to the Org Config module from the main menu
- Under the Secondary Master section, select UOC
The UOC interface will display all existing currency units and provide options to create new ones.
Creating a New Currency Unit
Step 1: Initiate Currency Creation
Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new currency unit.
Step 2: Complete the UOC Form
A currency unit form will appear with the following fields:

Step 3: Save the Currency Unit
After completing the required information, click the Save button to create the currency unit.
Warning
UOC Name is a mandatory field.
Managing Existing Currency Units
Currency Listing View
Once created, all currency units are displayed in the UOC table:
The table provides a comprehensive overview of all configured currencies, including their names, descriptions, and active status.
Actions
Each currency unit in the listing supports the following actions:
Edit Currency
Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify currency details including name, description, or active status.
View Currency
Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete currency details in read-only mode.
Toolbar Features
The UOC interface includes the following toolbar features:
