WAREHOUSE

The Warehouse section allows administrators to define and manage storage facilities used for housing inventory and materials essential for business operations. This enables proper inventory tracking and location management across multiple warehouses.

Follow these steps to access the Warehouse interface:

  1. Navigate to the Org Config module from the main menu
  2. Under the Secondary Master section, select Warehouse

The Warehouse interface will display all existing warehouses and provide options to create new ones.

Creating a New Warehouse

Step 1: Initiate Warehouse Creation

Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new warehouse.

Step 2: Complete the Warehouse Form

A warehouse form will appear with the following fields:

Warehouse Name A unique, descriptive name for the warehouse or storage facility ✓ Yes
Description A brief explanation of the warehouse location or purpose Optional
Active Status Toggle to activate or deactivate the warehouse Optional

Step 3: Save the Warehouse

After completing the required information, click the Save button to create the warehouse.

Warning

Warehouse Name is a mandatory field.

Managing Existing Warehouses

Warehouse Listing View

Once created, all warehouses are displayed in the Warehouse table:

The table provides a comprehensive overview of all configured warehouses, including their names, descriptions, and active status.

Each warehouse in the listing supports the following actions:

Edit Warehouse

Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify warehouse details including name, description, or active status.

View Warehouse

Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete warehouse details in read-only mode.
