BASIS OF APPROVAL
The Basis of Approval section allows administrators to define predefined criteria or rationale used to authorize transactions within the procurement system. This interface enables users to create, manage, and maintain various approval bases for consistent decision-making processes.
Navigation
Follow these steps to access the Basis of Approval interface:
- Navigate to the Procurement module from the main menu
- Under the Secondary Master section, select Basis of Approval

The Basis of Approval interface will display all existing approval bases and provide options to create new entries.
Creating a New Basis of Approval
Step 1: Initiate Basis of Approval Creation
Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new basis of approval.

Step 2: Complete the Basis of Approval Form
A basis of approval configuration form will appear with the following fields:

Basis of Approval Information
| Field | Description | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Basis of Approval Name | Enter the name or title that defines the basis of approval | ✓ Yes |
| Description | Provide optional details about the basis of approval | Optional |
| Remarks | Add any additional comments or notes | Optional |
| Active Status | Toggle to enable/disable the basis of approval (enabled by default) | ✓ Yes |
Step 3: Save the Basis of Approval
After completing all required information, click the Save button to create the basis of approval entry.
Warning
Basis of Approval Name is a required field.
Managing Existing Basis of Approvals
Basis of Approval Listing View
Once created, all basis of approvals are displayed in the Basis of Approval table.

Actions

Each basis of approval in the listing supports the following actions:
Edit Basis of Approval
Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify the selected basis of approval information.
View Basis of Approval
Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete basis of approval details in read-only mode.
