EXPORT UNIT TYPE
The Export Unit Type section allows administrators to define and manage different types of units used in export operations. This interface helps standardize and categorize the various units of measurement or packaging types used in export documentation and processes to ensure consistency across export-related operations.
Navigation
Follow these steps to access the Export Unit Type interface:
- Navigate to the Procurement module from the main menu
- Under the Secondary Master section, select Export Unit Type
The Export Unit Type interface will display all existing export unit types and provide options to create new entries.
Creating a New Export Unit Type
Step 1: Initiate Export Unit Type Creation
Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new export unit type.
Step 2: Complete the Export Unit Type Form
An export unit type configuration form will appear with the following fields:
Export Unit Type Information

| Active Status | Toggle to enable/disable the export unit type (enabled by default) | ✓ Yes |
Step 3: Save the Export Unit Type
After completing all required information, click the Save button to create the export unit type entry.
Warning
Export Unit Type Name is a required field.
Managing Existing Export Unit Types
Export Unit Type Listing View
Once created, all export unit types are displayed in the Export Unit Type table.
Actions
Each export unit type in the listing supports the following actions:
Edit Export Unit Type
Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify the selected export unit type information.
View Export Unit Type
Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete export unit type details in read-only mode.
Toolbar Features
The Export Unit Type interface includes the following toolbar features:
