NATURE OF RELATIONSHIP
The Nature of Relationship section allows administrators to define the type of association or connection between entities (e.g., vendor, affiliate, partner). This interface helps users configure and manage different relationship types within the procurement system for better vendor and partner management.
Navigation
Follow these steps to access the Nature of Relationship interface:
- Navigate to the Procurement module from the main menu
- Under the Secondary Master section, select Nature of Relationship
The Nature of Relationship interface will display all existing relationship types and provide options to create new entries.
Creating a New Nature of Relationship
Step 1: Initiate Nature of Relationship Creation
Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new nature of relationship.
Step 2: Complete the Nature of Relationship Form
A nature of relationship configuration form will appear with the following fields:
Nature of Relationship Information

| Nature of Relationship | Enter the type of relationship (e.g., Vendor, Partner, Affiliate) | ✓ Yes |

| Active Status | Toggle to enable/disable the relationship type (enabled by default) | ✓ Yes |
Step 3: Save the Nature of Relationship
After completing all required information, click the Save button to create the nature of relationship entry.
Warning
Nature of Relationship is a required field.
Managing Existing Nature of Relationships
Nature of Relationship Listing View
Once created, all relationship types are displayed in the Nature of Relationship table.
Actions
Each nature of relationship in the listing supports the following actions:
Edit Nature of Relationship
Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify the selected relationship type information.
View Nature of Relationship
Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete relationship type details in read-only mode.
Toolbar Features
The Nature of Relationship interface includes the following toolbar features:
