SHIPMENT MODE
The Shipment Mode section allows administrators to define the method or channel through which goods are transported, such as air, road, sea, or rail. This interface enables users to configure and manage various shipment modes that support consistent logistics planning and procurement operations.
Navigation
Follow these steps to access the Shipment Mode interface:
- Navigate to the Procurement module from the main menu
- Under the Secondary Master section, select Shipment Mode
The Shipment Mode interface will display all existing shipment modes and provide options to create new entries.
Creating a New Shipment Mode
Step 1: Initiate Shipment Mode Creation
Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new shipment mode.
Step 2: Complete the Shipment Mode Form
A shipment mode configuration form will appear with the following fields:
Shipment Mode Information

| Shipment Mode Name | Enter the name of the shipment mode (e.g., Air, Sea, Road, Rail) | ✓ Yes |
| Description | Provide a description of the shipment mode | Optional |

| Active Status | Toggle to enable/disable the shipment mode (enabled by default) | ✓ Yes |
Step 3: Save the Shipment Mode
After completing all required information, click the Save button to create the shipment mode entry.
Warning
Shipment Mode Name is a required field.
Managing Existing Shipment Modes
Shipment Mode Listing View
Once created, all shipment modes are displayed in the Shipment Mode table.
Actions
Each shipment mode in the listing supports the following actions:
Edit Shipment Mode
Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify the selected shipment mode information.
View Shipment Mode
Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete shipment mode details in read-only mode.
Toolbar Features
The Shipment Mode interface includes the following toolbar features:
