QUOTE MODIFY/VIEW
Quote modify/view explains how users can access and modify quotes, search for specific records, and take actions such as editing, viewing, releasing, sending emails, and printing quotes. It also outlines key interface elements, including navigation icons and communication features.
Navigation
- Click on "Sales and Marketing".
- Click on "Modify/View" under "Quote".

A tab will open where user can see this page

Actions

Edit
Click on the edit icon to open the page where user can modify the required fields.
View
Click on the view icon to view the created Customer master.
Release
When a user clicks on Release the Quotation, a confirmation dialog box will appear, prompting the user to choose between converting the quotation into a Sale or marking it as a Loss.
Retail shop order/Build to Print

Click on the Retail shop order or Build to Print User will redirect the user to the Sales Order page.

Where the information are coming from quote
Item

- Users can delete unnecessary rows if required.
- If a General Discount is applied, it will be applicable to all items.
- To add a new item, click the Add button and enter the required item details.
PO Details
User can fill in the required information
- PO Number: Enter PO Number.
- PO Date: By default for PO the present days date will be selected.
- Received Date: By default for Received the present days date will be selected.
Billing and Shipping

- Bill To: Select Bill to from the dropdown.
- Bill To Id: once the bill to id is selected the bill to ID will automatically come up.
- Ship To *: Select the Ship To Id from the dropdown.
- Payment Terms: select the required payment terms from the dropdown menu

Remarks: Text box to add any remarks

Select the appropriate Ship To address.
Click Save to finalize and release the quote as a sales order.
Total Calculations
- Total Amount – The calculated total amount. (Default: 0)
- Include in Quote? – Toggle option to include the total amount in the final quote (enabled by default).
Additional Charges
- Label Name – A custom label for additional charges.
- Charge Value – The amount of additional charges applied.
- Percentage (%) – Additional charge in percentage form.
- Fixed Amount (Rs) – Additional charge as a fixed currency amount.
- Taxes – Applicable tax details.
- IGST (%): Enter the Integrated GST percentage.
- CGST (%): Enter the Central GST percentage.
- SGST (%): Enter the State GST percentage.
- UTGST (%): Enter the Union Territory GST percentage.
- Remarks – Any additional notes or comments.
- Total Additional Charges – The sum of all additional charges. (Default: 0)
- Special Discount – Extra discount applied beyond general discounts.
- Percentage (%) – Special discount as a percentage.
- Fixed Amount (Rs) – Special discount in a fixed amount.
- Total Final Amount – The final calculated amount after all charges and discounts. (Default: 0)
- Payment Terms – The agreed terms for payment completion.
Loss

- Select the Loss option in the confirmation dialog and then type in the reason for loss.The quotation will be marked as Discontinued.

Once marked as a loss:
- The quotation cannot be processed further.
- It will only be available for viewing and cannot be modified or converted.

Once the Quote is released the sales order is created based on the released Quote.
Click the print icon to print the selected quotation
