ROOM NAME

The Room Name section allows administrators to define and manage various room names used in the system. This interface helps in organizing space-related data effectively for tracking, reporting, and allocation by enabling users to add room details including name, description, remarks, and status.

Follow these steps to access the Room Name interface:

  1. Navigate to the Sales and Marketing module from the main menu
  2. Under the Secondary Master section, select Room Name

The Room Name interface will display all existing room names and provide options to create new entries.

Creating a New Room Name

Step 1: Initiate Room Name Creation

Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new room name.

Step 2: Complete the Room Name Form

A room name configuration form will appear with the following fields:

Room Name Enter the name of the room ✓ Yes
Description Provide a short description of the room Optional
Remarks Add any optional internal notes or comments Optional
Active Status Toggle to enable/disable the room (enabled by default) ✓ Yes

Step 3: Save the Room Name

After completing all required information, click the Save button to create the room name entry.

Warning

The Room Name field is mandatory.

Managing Existing Room Names

Once created, all room names are displayed in the Room Name table.

Each room name in the listing supports the following actions:

Edit Room Name

Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify the selected room name information.

View Room Name

Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete room name details in read-only mode
