SEGMENT

The Segment section allows administrators to classify customers, markets, or business areas based on common characteristics for targeted sales and marketing strategies. This interface enables users to create, manage, and maintain segments with relevant descriptions and statuses, helping streamline lead targeting, reporting, and customer segmentation efforts.

Follow these steps to access the Segment interface:

  1. Navigate to the Sales and Marketing module from the main menu
  2. Under the Secondary Master section, select Segment

The Segment interface will display all existing segments and provide options to create new entries.

Creating a New Segment

Step 1: Initiate Segment Creation

Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new segment.

Step 2: Complete the Segment Form

A segment configuration form will appear with the following fields:

Segment Name Enter the name of the segment ✓ Yes
Description Provide a description of the segment Optional
Remarks Add any optional remarks or notes Optional
Active Status Toggle to enable/disable the segment (enabled by default) ✓ Yes

Step 3: Save the Segment

After completing all required information, click the Save button to create the segment entry.

Warning

The Segment Name field is mandatory.

Each segment in the listing supports the following actions:

Edit Segment

Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify the selected segment information

View Segment

Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete segment details in read-only mode
