LOCATION
Location refers to a specific physical or logical area within a warehouse where inventory is stored or managed.
This module helps users define and organize warehouse zones for efficient tracking and retrieval of items. By creating distinct locations, warehouse operations become more structured and traceable.
Navigation Steps
- Click on Warehouse.
- Under Secondary Master, click on Location.

Creating a New Location
Step 1: Initiate Location Creation
Click the Add button in the toolbar to begin creating a new Location.

Step 2: Complete the Location Form

| Select Warehouse | Enter the name of the Location | ✓ Yes |
| Location Name | Provide details about the Location | Optional |
| Description | Provide details about the Location | Optional |
| Remarks | Add any additional comments or notes | Optional |
| Active Status | Toggle to enable or disable the stock (enabled by default) | ✓ Yes |
Step 3: Save the Location
After entering the required information, click the Save button to create the Location entry.
Warning
Location Name is a mandatory field.
Once the Location is created, it will be visible on this page.

Action

Edit Location
Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column to modify the selected Location information.
View Location
Click the Eye icon in the Actions column to view complete Location details in read-only mode.
